Since her first yoga certification in 2009 with YogaLife in India, Samantha has not stopped training and learning. In her hometown of Vancouver, she continued to study with many teachers including Paul Grilley, Gurmukh, Max Strom, Mark Whitwell, Bernie Clark and Gloria Latham. After working with the Semperviva Teacher Training program in Vancouver, she moved to PEI and started her own Yoga Training College.
Samantha is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), a graduate of Yoga North International Soma Yoga Institute, an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance (E-RYT at the 500-hour level) and a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN). She has also completed an 800-hour Yoga history and Philosophy program, Yoga-Nidra Levels 1 and 2 as well as Yoga-Nidra for Children through Traditional Yoga Studies as well as a year-long Mastery of Mantra training with Russill Paul.
Studying theatre at the University of Connecticut peaked Erika's interest of body awareness, and still influences her classes with music and theatrics being a huge element.
Before moving to PEI in 2009, Erika managed Elements Yoga and Wellness Center in Darien, Connecticut where she studied under such inspirational teachers as Bruce Bassock and Bernadette Birney (Anusara Yoga).
She has been teaching for 15 years and says it's the community (kula) that is at the heart of each class she teaches.She is an integral part of the Training at MYC, leading students through the principles of Anusara Yoga and finding alignment beyond the physical in all Yoga asanas (postures).

Over a period of 23 years, Brenda operated a health business offering training and educational programs in Canada. She conducted numerous workshops specializing in stress management, positive lifestyle, and motivation.
Since 2003, she has been involved in getting the Traditional Yoga Studies distance-learning programs off the ground. She now serves as director of Traditional Yoga Studies, tutor for all TYS courses, assistant for the mentorship program, and also teaches Yoga classes, workshops, and retreats worldwide.
She coauthored Green Yoga and Green Dharma, and The ABCs of Yoga (forthcoming) with Georg Feuerstein and contributed to his book entitled The Bhagavad-Gītā: A New Translation. She is the author of The Yoga-Sutra from a Woman’s Perspective and an audio entitled Yoga Nidra/Yoga Sleep (forthcoming).
