Erika's interest in Yoga and meditation began at an early age when she used to make her friends sit and meditate while listening to the sounds of Enigma! Studying theatre at the University of Connecticut peaked her interest of body awareness, and still influences her classes with music and theatrics being a huge element.
Before moving to PEI in 2009, Erika managed Elements Yoga and Wellness Center in Darien, Connecticut where she studied under such inspirational teachers as Bruce Bassock and Bernadette Birney (Anusara Yoga).
She has been teaching for 15 years and says it's the community (kula) that is at the heart of each class she teaches.
She is an integral part of the Training at MYC, leading students through the principles of Anusara Yoga and finding alignment beyond the physical sense in all Yoga asanas (postures).
Erika teaches classes, workshops and private sessions all over PEI. To learn more about her 3eYoga business, check it out here.
