![]() Yes! Some people ask me if they need a certain amount of experience or if they can take the training even if they don't want to teach. When it comes to experience, it is optimal to have a range of different levels in a group. I really encourage beginners, because this creates the best learning environment and is a realistic representation of a class you may be in front of one day. You need to be prepared to teach to a diverse group, and this training will help you do that. So what if you don't want to teach? In my experience, being a part of Yoga Teacher Trainings, some students come in thinking they're not going to teach and then do! But even if you don't, you'll take away what you need from it. Some keep their current jobs and incorporate this training into what they're already doing. Some offer lunch-time yoga classes to their co-workers at the office. Some also take it to deepen their own knowledge of the practice. The good news is, once you take this Yoga Alliance Certified course, you'll always have your certificate and if you do decide one day to start teaching, you can. If you've been thinking about joining our next term, September 6th - December 15th, registration closes this Friday! For more information email info@maritimeyoga.com
